By Public Transport: For those opting for public transport to reach Port Rashid, mastering schedules and routes is key. Navigate buses by scanning departure times and platform information, ensuring a seamless journey tailored to Port Rashid location.

By Taxi: Taking a taxi to Port Rashid is easy. Hail a taxi, share the address, and most drivers know the way.

Tickets: Bring your entry tickets, either in print or digital form on your phone, for a smooth entry experience.

Valid Photo ID: Carry a valid photo ID like your passport for identity verification.

Cash and Card: Have some cash for small purchases; many vendors also accept cards.

Camera/Smartphone: Capture the scenic moments with your camera or smartphone.

Dress for the Weather: As this is an outdoor event, dress appropriately for the weather conditions.

Sun Protection: If it's hot and sunny, bring a hat, high SPF sun cream, and drink plenty of water.

Reusable Water Bottle: No single-use disposable bottles are permitted. Bring a reusable water bottle and use the free water refill points to stay hydrated.

Safety Checks: For your safety, we may request a sniff and/or sip test for reusable water bottles to ensure no dangerous substances are inside.

Litter and Recycling: Help minimize waste. Single-use plastic bottles will be confiscated and recycled during entry. Please make use of the free water refill stations and dispose of waste responsibly.

Bag Policy: You are allowed to bring one bag that does not exceed 30 x 30 cm into the event. Additionally, you may carry a small clutch bag or purse, approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap.

Prohibited Items: Glass, cans, single-use plastic (including disposable water bottles), BBQs, weapons, illegal substances, fireworks, flares, political items, and speakers are strictly prohibited. This is not an exhaustive list, and additional items may be restricted at the discretion of the Security Manager.

Confiscation of Items: Any prohibited items will be confiscated and disposed of by security staff. Confiscated items cannot be returned at the end of your visit. For a full list of prohibited items, please refer to the Event Terms & Conditions on our website.

Child Admission: Children are allowed into the Race Stadium.

Age Restrictions: All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children under 5 can enter the Race Stadium for free.

Seating for Children Under 5: Children under 5 must sit on an adult’s lap if seated in the unreserved grandstand.

Buggies: Buggies are permitted inside the event site, but there is no left luggage area or baby change facility.

Dress Code: There is no official dress code for SailGP events.

Weather Preparation: We recommend preparing according to the weather forecast. Bring a hat, high SPF sunscreen, and drink plenty of water if sunny weather is expected. If rain is forecasted, pack a raincoat and warmer layers.

Prohibited Items: Large umbrellas are not allowed in the grandstands as they can block the view for other fans.

Inclusivity Commitment: SailGP is committed to creating an inclusive environment and making services, facilities, and event sites as accessible as possible. If you have specific needs or suggestions for additional facilities, please contact us.

Quiet Room: A quiet room facility is available for use for all ticket types within the stadium.

Wheelchair Accessible: Wheelchair accessible and easy access viewing tickets are sold separately from general access tickets and include access to a reserved viewing section. Companions can join in the viewing area. For ticket adjustments, please contact ticketing@sailgp.com.

Carer Access: Carers for persons with disabilities are entitled to a free ticket. To arrange, contact ticketing@sailgp.com.

General Facilities: The Race Stadium facilities, including catering, bars, Fan Shop, and toilets, are accessible. Unfortunately, there is no hearing loop available.

Assistance Dogs: Registered assistance dogs are welcome, including in unreserved grandstand seating. While there is no specific dog area, re-entry is allowed for this purpose (subject to bag searches).

Ground Information: All surfaces are hard, with ramps available where kerbs are present. Viewing areas in the grandstands have ramp access, and Event Ambassadors are available for assistance.

First Aid: A first aid team will be present in the Race Stadium. Please ask for help if needed.

Toilet Facilities: Separate male, female, accessible, and ablution facilities are available inside the Race Stadium.

Left Luggage: There is no left luggage facility, so please check the list of prohibited items and permitted bag sizes before arriving. Confiscated items cannot be returned.

Fan Shop: SailGP merchandise is available for purchase while the Race Stadium is open.

Food Availability: A variety of food and beverages will be available for purchase within the race stadium.

Recycling: Please recycle all leftover food packaging in the recycling bins placed around the event site.

Sustainability: Vendors aim to source ingredients locally and sustainably, so menus and prices may vary on the day of the event.

Prohibited Items: No external food, drinks, or coolboxes are allowed inside the Race Stadium. Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items or baby food, subject to inspection.

General lost property will be taken to the Information Point just outside the Race Stadium entrance. Please ask one of our Event Ambassadors if you need any assistance. Items found in the Race Stadium will be kept until the end of Sunday 10 December and then disposed of.

What is in the Race Stadium?
Our Race Stadium has something for all Fans to enjoy. Learn more about what it takes to be a SailGP athlete in our Inspire Zone. Our Waterfront Grandstand viewing areas ensure you have an elevated space to watch the F50’s zoom by, complemented by pre-show entertainment, expert local commentary and broadcast graphics on our large screens. A selection of locally sourced, sustainable foods and beverages will be available to purchase (see Food & Drink section).
When is Racing scheduled?
Racing is scheduled between 14:00 - 15:30, with three races each day (weather dependent). Updates or changes to the schedule due to inclement weather will be communicated via our website.
What happens in the Stadium after racing?
After the last race, it’s time to get the party started! The Race Stadium will stay open until 17:00. As well as enjoying the music, visit the Fan Shop for a take home souvenir, and soak up the atmosphere with a last drink at the bar to end your visit in style.
Is there parking?
Yes, there is parking available. Attendees have the option to park their vehicles conveniently at or near the venue, ensuring a hassle-free arrival and departure experience.
Is there accessible parking available?
Yes. If you have indicated accessibility requirements when booking your ticket, our ticketing team will reach out to you for a dedicated ADA parking space close to the Race Stadium entrance. Please contact ticketing@sailgp.com if you require ADA parking and have not been contacted directly.
Is there an accessible drop-off point near the Race Stadium?
An accessible drop off point will be available close to the Race Stadium. Please contact ticketing@sailgp.com if you require this facility.
Will this event take place rain or shine?
The event is scheduled to take place rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather causing the cancellation of racing, refunds would be offered in line with the Refund Policy on our website.
Will there be shaded areas in the grandstand?
Yes, all of the grandstands are shaded.
Can I bring a camera?
Yes. Race Stadium ticket holders can bring in cameras, however photography or filming for commercial purposes is not permitted. We reserve the right to change this policy at any time, so please check back before your visit for the latest information.
Can I smoke or vape in the stadium?
Our Race Stadium is a no smoking site (including e-cigarettes and vapes).
Can I fly my own drone / UAV?
No. There is a legally enforced Air Exclusion Zone in place during the event. Unauthorized drones are strictly prohibited on or in the vicinity of the event site and our on water race course, as they are dangerous to SailGP helicopter and drone operations.
What is your re-entry policy?
Ticket holders can leave and re-enter the Race Stadium, just show your wristband to our entrance security staff. On re-entry all ticket holders must submit to the same security search.
What is your refund policy?
